Entry C over Entry E, these two entries were very close in competition. However, Entry C, when viewed from the back in the Mammary System shows more balance in the udder halves, the udder is more uniform from the top to the base, and when viewing the udder side pic has more balance in the thirds of the udder with smoother transition of the fore udder. In General Appearance Entry C when viewed from the rear is straighter and wider between the hocks, from the front has more forward pointing toes and when viewed from the top has a smoother more refined blend to the shoulder into the chest wall.

Entry E over Entry A in General Appearance is wider throughout, more angulation to the rear legs when viewed from the side, more extension to the brisket and more level through the topline with a more desirable slope to the rump. In Body Capacity is deeper in the heart girth and barrel . Entry E does grant best udder to Entry A, however, Entry E has a very capacious udder with a good medial suspensory ligament.

Entry A receives Best Udder in this class. When viewed from the rear, Entry A has a good uniform udder from the top to the base, good medial suspensory ligament, and well placed cylindric shaped teats that point downward. Entry A over Entry B in the Mammary System receiving best udder in class. In General Appearance Entry A has more width in the chest floor, straighter in the rear legs when viewed from the back, and when viewed from above she is longer in the neck with more width in the rump from hips to pin bones.

Entry B over Entry D in General Appearance. When viewed from the back Entry B is straighter and wider in the rear legs, when viewed from the front she is a little wider and tighter in the toe, and when viewed from above she has smoother blending of the shoulder into the chest wall. In the Mammary System she has a more capacious udder with more extension to the fore udder. Note: For future pics of the side profile the rear legs should be set so that the top of the hocks is almost directly under the pin bone or just slightly back and then the pasterns perpendicular to the hock. This helps the judge determine angulation of the rear legs from the side and rear as well as length of barrel/bone.

Entry D has more width between the fore legs, more angulation to the rear leg when viewed from the side and more level throughout her topline especially stronger in her chine. In the Mammary System Entry D has higher udder attachment with a good medial suspensory ligament, more ideal in the teat placement and size and has smoother blending of the fore udder into the abdominal wall.

Entry H over Entry I in General Appearance. Entry H is wider between the fore legs with a tighter toe, wider between the hocks , has a more desirable slope to her rump and a longer leaner neck. In the Mammary System Entry H shows a little higher udder attachment and more downward pointing teats.

Entry I over Entry F in General Appearance. Entry I is straighter and wider between the hocks, standing straighter in her fore legs, and longer in bone. In the Mammary System when viewed from the back, Entry I has a higher udder attachment with a stronger medial suspensory ligament and teats that are clearly delineated from the udder. Note for future pics: when taking the side profile please make sure to take pic straight on to the side not at an angle so the judge can see the complete topline and the brisket extension.

Entry C will be our first place doe, showing good strength in general appearance, and the most outstanding mammary system in the class. She will be Best Udder in the class. This doe places over Entry A by being more level in the hips, having increased depth in barrel and by having a more capacious and more correctly shaped udder. She shows good udder balance with thirds in front and behind the rear leg.

Entry E excels Entry B in general appearance. She is more stylish with a neck that blends well into a long, level topline. The two does have similarly shaped udders but E's udder has more capacity. Entry E will grant more correctly angulated rear legs (perhaps due to over-pinching) to the doe standing in fourth).

(She would appear more balanced if the hocks were placed below the pin bones in the side view.).
