Entry E places over Entry G in the Mammary System for more clearly seen thirds of the udder from the side, more capacious and has more extension and fullness in the fore udder. In General Appearance she has better angulation to the rear legs when viewed from the side, and when viewed from the top she has a flatter more refined shoulder giving her a clearer dairy wedge in Dairy Character as well as from the side.

In the Mammary System when viewed from the back she has a higher and wider rear under attachment giving more uniformity to the udder from the top to the base of the udder.

Entry F has a developed udder that has good uniformity from the top to the base when viewed from the rear and good diameter to the teats at the base of the udder. In General Appearance Entry F has good length of bone and when viewed from the top shows smooth blending of the shoulder into the chest wall giving her a clear dairy wedge in Dairy Character.

Entry E stands at the head of the line, showing strength in general appearance, body capacity and in the mammary system. Her udder shows balance, is capacious as well as being high and wide. E will be our Best Udder. Entry E stands ahead of the second place doe in demonstrating better dairy wedges, with a very noticeable deep and wide barrel. She also excels the second place doe by having more spring of rib and is sharper in the withers. (Note: photos of this doe, especially the one of the rear udder, would have been better if taken on a cloudy day.)

Entries I, G, and H are very close placements. Entry I places over Entry G showing a little more strength in general appearance and dairy character. I shows smoother blending in the front end assembly. She is wider in the chest floor and that width carries all the way through to the escutcheon. Entry I also has more width in the rear udder but will yield to Entry G more correct teat placement.

Entry C, as a dry doe, cannot easily compete with does of the same age and breed that are also lactating. Once this doe kids, and hopefully produces a nice udder, she may do well in competition.
