All these entries had capacious udders, but Entry B is awarded Best Udder in this class. Her udder is well balanced from the side and back, she has a strong medial suspensory ligament, and teats that have good diameter at the base of the udder and more appropriately placed at the base of the udder. Entry B over Entry A in General Appearance for having more width in the chest floor, more angulation to the hock when viewed from the side and more level in her topline through the loin. In the Mammary System she shows a more distinct medial suspensory ligament and the udder is more equal in balance when when viewed from the side.

Entry A although standing last in this class is to be commended for her capacious udder having a smooth transition of the fore udder into the abdominal wall, and good length to her teats. In Body Capacity she has good depth to the barrel and in General Appearance a nice long lean neck.

Our first and second place does are close but Entry B moves to the head of the class with the more level topline, especially in the area of the hips. She is a longer-bodied doe with smoother blending. Her stronger medial suspensory ligament gives the udder a more correct shape with more properly placed teats. She will earn Best Udder.

The higher and wider udder attachment of Entry A's udder places her above the next doe in the lineup. Her udder also shows more balanced halves and she has better blending of the fore udder into the abdominal wall. She will grant greater capacity and stronger topline to the doe standing next in line.

Entry C is to be commended for her smooth blending and strength in dairy character. She shows good depth, spring of rib, and has correct placement of the front legs directly under the withers..
